Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with Chanel sandals with straps:

Alright, so I finally caved and got myself a pair of those Chanel sandals – you know, the ones with all the straps? I’d been eyeing them for ages, but the price tag always made me hesitate. But hey, treat yourself, right?
The Hunt
First off, finding the right pair was a whole mission in itself. I started by browsing online, just to get an idea of the different styles. I quickly realized there were way more options than I expected! Some had thick straps, some had thin, some were platform, some were flat… it was a lot to take in.
After narrowing it down to a few styles I liked, I decided to hit the actual Chanel store. Gotta try these babies on, right? I mean, for that price, they better fit like a dream.
The Try-On
Walking into the store was a little intimidating, I’m not gonna lie. But the sales associate was super helpful. I told her what I was looking for, and she brought out a few different pairs for me to try.
- The first pair I tried was a classic black leather with thin straps. They were cute, but felt a little… plain?
- Next, I tried a pair with thicker straps and a bit of a platform. These felt more substantial, and I liked the extra height.
- Then, I slipped on a pair with interwoven straps and a small Chanel logo. Ooh, these were fancy!
I paced around the store in each pair, trying to get a feel for the comfort level. Let me tell you, those straps can be tricky! Some rubbed in weird places, while others felt surprisingly secure.
The Decision
After much deliberation (and a few laps around the store), I finally settled on the pair with the thicker straps and the platform. They felt the most comfortable and supportive, and I figured I could actually walk in them for more than five minutes without wanting to cry.
The Aftermath
I’ve been wearing my new sandals for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I’m pretty happy with my purchase. They definitely elevate any outfit, and they’re surprisingly comfortable once you break them in a bit. The straps did take some getting used to, but now they feel like a second skin.
My only advice? Maybe apply a little fashion tape to the straps before the first wear to protect the skin.
Would I recommend them? If you’re willing to splurge and you’re looking for a statement sandal, then yeah, go for it! Just make sure you try them on and walk around in them before you commit. Those straps are no joke!
