Chanel 2025 perfume coming out? What we know so far

Okay so I’ve been obsessed with Chanel lately, especially their runway stuff. Saw snippets of their 2025 collection online and thought damn I wanna recreate one tiny piece of that vibe. Not the whole outfit obviously, just like… a hair accessory inspired by it. Here’s how it went down step by step.

First Attempt Was Trash

Started by digging through my grandma’s old craft boxes. Found some fake pearls and black ribbons. Figured I’d slap together a headband real quick. Glued pearls onto the ribbon with basic craft glue from Dollar Tree. Looked cute until next morning – pearls falling off like raindrops. Total mess. Lesson learned: cheap glue ain’t cutting it for wearable stuff.

Material Upgrade Time

Went hunting for stronger supplies:

  • Industrial-strength fabric glue
  • Thick grosgrain ribbon
  • Pearls with actual holes for threading
  • Small pliers for pinching

Searched three craft stores because half the beads looked like plastic bubbles. Finally got matte finish pearls that almost kinda resembled the runway pics.

Construction Chaos

Tried sewing pearls first. Poked my thumb twice. Blood on ribbon. Switched to gluing – used so much it seeped through the fabric. Third try: threaded pearls like a damn necklace, zigzagged stitch over them while pinned to ribbon. Sweated bullets near the end ’cause tension got wonky. Finished it by ironing the whole thing flat. Looked… wobbly but held together.

The “Unveiling” Disaster

Put it on for Sunday coffee run. Felt fancy until sudden rain hit. Ten steps in downpour – watched pearls slide down my forehead like sad little snails. Glue dissolved? Threads loosened? Dunno but I stood there dripping with my Chanel 2025 wannabe melting off my head. Walked home clutching wet ribbon scraps. Even the barista smirked.

Ultimate Fix Solution

Pissed off now. Dug out jewelry wire instead of thread, added tiny metal clasps behind each pearl. Wove wire through ribbon fibers like basket weaving. Took four hours for 8 inches – cramped fingers but that thing’s bulletproof now. Double-dipped in glue anyway ’cause trust issues. Survived shower test intentionally. Looks dented and overly chunky but hey it stays ON.

Final takeaway? High fashion costs thousands ’cause it takes sweat, blood, and resisting urge to yeet projects out windows. My DIY Chanel piece now survives apocalypses but resembles more “salvage yard chic”. Maybe stick to blogging about crafts instead of wearing them.
