Okay, so I’ve been seeing these thick sole loafers everywhere lately, and I finally caved. I decided I needed to try this trend for myself. My journey started, as most do these days, with some serious online window shopping.
The Hunt Begins
I scrolled through tons of websites, looking at different styles. I wanted something classic, but also a little bit edgy. You know, something that says “I’m cool, but I also mean business.”

- Finally, I stumbled upon a pair I loved on an online shop. Bingo!
The Purchase
They were black, with a seriously chunky sole. I debated for a bit – were they too chunky? But I decided to go for it. I added them to my cart, typed in my info, and clicked “buy.” The anticipation was real!

A few days later, the package arrived. I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there they were! They looked even better in person. I immediately tried them on.
The Verdict
Okay, these are definitely a statement. I walked around my apartment, getting a feel for them. They’re surprisingly comfortable, despite the hefty sole. I paired them with some cropped jeans and a simple t-shirt. Then I added some socks and a oversized sweeter. Love it!
