Buy Black Rhinestone Flats: Where to Find Great Deals.

Okay, so I’ve been wanting some cute, sparkly flats for a while, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. I saw these plain black flats at the store and thought, “Hey, I could totally DIY this!” So, I grabbed them and headed to the craft store for some rhinestones.

First, I gathered all my materials. I had:

The Fun Part: Adding the Bling!

I started by cleaning the surface of the shoes. This is just to make sure there weren’t any dust or anything that would mess up the glue.

Then, I poured a little bit of glue onto the small dish. Less is more, trust me! I used the toothpick to dab a tiny, tiny amount of glue onto the back of a rhinestone. Using the tweezers, I carefully placed the rhinestone onto the shoe. I started at the toe and worked my way back, kind of creating a random pattern. I mixed up the sizes, putting bigger ones here and there and filling in the gaps with smaller ones.

It took some time, and my back did start to ache a little(haha!). The hardest part was keeping things relatively symmetrical on both shoes. I kept stepping back and comparing them to make sure they looked somewhat similar. No sweat!

After I was satisfied with the rhinestone placement, I just let them dry completely. I think I waited like, a full 24 hours, just to be super safe. I wanted to make sure those little gems were totally stuck on there.

And That is all! I’m so happy with how they turned out! They’re super sparkly and add just the right amount of glam to any outfit. Plus, I saved a bunch of money by doing it myself. Total win!
