Alright so last Saturday I finally made it downtown to check out that big Burberry store everyone’s talking about. Woke up early, grabbed my coffee and jumped on the train – totally forgot how packed it gets on weekends. Found myself squeezing past tourists near the river for like 20 minutes before spotting that huge classic Burberry tan facade.

Getting Inside and First Looks
Pushed through those heavy doors and boom – hit me with that fancy store smell right away. Place is massive, way bigger than I thought. A sales guy in one of their sharp checkered suits comes over asking if I need help. Said I was just browsing but he handed me this thick booklet anyway – turns out it was their new collection catalog. Nice touch.
Started walking around feeling kinda like a kid in a candy store. Everything’s all lit up fancy under those spotlights. Headed straight for the trenches first – that’s what Burberry’s famous for right? Whole section just for them. Walls covered in beige.

What caught my eye:
- This lightweight honey-colored trench hanging front and center
- A navy one with black buttons – looked kinda boss honestly
- Bright red raincoat that screamed “look at me”
Digging Deeper Into the Goods
After touching every single trench coat like a weirdo, I wandered over to accessories. Saw this mini bag with the TB logo shining under the lights. Flipped over the price tag… yikes. Almost dropped my coffee.
Scarves though – those felt like the sweet spot. Tons of their classic check pattern in different colors – dark green, red, navy blue. Picked up this soft cashmere one in camel color. Wrap around twice – instant class without needing a second mortgage.

Spotted the men’s section and thought I’d peek. Found some cool polo shirts with tiny Burberry patterns woven in – not screaming loud, just subtle. Also saw these wool sweaters that felt stupidly soft.
Checkout and Final Thoughts
After walking circles around the place twice, grabbed the camel scarf. Rang me up at this sleek counter with moody lighting. Guy asks about their loyalty program – signed up just to get the email receipt. Walked out with that little black bag swinging at my side.
Honest take? Place feels fancy but not snobby. Staff don’t hover too much which I hate. Selection is deep – got stuff from grandma scarves to wild studded jackets. Definitely splurge territory but worth walking through just to feel the fabrics. Saw prices from painful to “why did I ride the train past three Targets again?”. Left just wanting that honey trench coat… maybe after that tax refund hits.
