Anyway, I learned that back in 2017, Breitling made some big moves in the chronograph game. That’s a fancy word for stopwatch, by the way. They came out with this new split-second thing, called the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B03. And they put it in one of their most famous watches, the Navitimer. Pretty cool, right?
Now, here’s where it gets interesting for me. I heard about this collaboration between Breitling and Triumph, the motorcycle company. They made a limited edition motorcycle, only 270 of them. And if you bought one of those bikes, you got the chance to buy a special watch, the Chronomat B01 Triumph Owners Exclusive.
- First, I started checking out these Triumph motorcycles.
- Then, I found out that these bikes had some cool Breitling details. Like, when you turned it on, the screen had a custom Breitling thing. And the Breitling logo was on the back wheel, etched in there.
- After that, I tried to get my hands on one of those Chronomat watches.
- Finally, I managed to snag one! It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.
Every Breitling watch has its own special number, like a serial number. And another number that tells you about the watch, like what it’s made of and what kind of movement it has. This made me check and double-check to make sure I got the real deal.
The Process
It was a whole journey, let me tell you. I spent hours online, reading forums, and talking to other watch nerds. I even went to a few watch stores to see some Breitlings in person.
