Figuring Out the Next Move

Others talk about stuck pixels, which are supposedly different. Then there’s talk about pressure marks, backlight issues, all sorts of stuff. I tried it, very, very lightly, on one of the smaller spots. Nothing. Didn’t want to press harder and make things worse, so I gave up on that pretty quick. Felt like I was playing with fire.
Where I’m At Now
So, after all that, the black spots are still there. They haven’t gotten bigger, thankfully, but they haven’t gone away either. It’s a bit frustrating, you know? You buy these expensive gadgets, and then tiny things go wrong that are just a pain to deal with.
I’m guessing they might actually be dead pixels, or some kind of small damage to the panel itself. If that’s the case, there’s not much I can do short of a professional repair, which probably costs more than it’s worth for an older TV. For now, I’m just trying to ignore them.
