Okay, so I saw this thing online about using shaving cream on your face, like, for women. I was like, “What the heck?” But I got curious ’cause my skin’s been kinda rough lately. So, I decided to give it a try. I grabbed my husband’s shaving cream from the bathroom – hope he doesn’t mind!

Getting Started
First, I washed my face like usual, just to get all the makeup and dirt off. Then, I took a little bit of the shaving cream and put it on my hand. It felt kinda weird, all foamy and cool. I hesitated for a sec, but then I just went for it and slapped it on my face.
- Washed my face
- Grabbed the shaving cream
- Applied it to my face
The Waiting Game
I spread the shaving cream all over, making sure not to get it in my eyes or mouth. It smelled kinda manly, but not in a bad way. Then, I just waited. The instructions I saw said to leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. I set a timer on my phone and just chilled on the couch, scrolling through Instagram.
- Spread shaving cream evenly
- Waited for 10-15 minutes
Rinse and Reveal
When the timer went off, I went back to the bathroom and rinsed the shaving cream off with warm water. It came off pretty easily, which was nice. I patted my face dry with a towel and looked in the mirror. Honestly, I didn’t expect much, but my skin actually felt softer! It was kinda surprising.
- Rinsed off the shaving cream
- Patted face dry
The Aftermath
It’s been a few hours now, and my face still feels pretty smooth. I don’t know if it’s a long-term solution or anything, but it definitely did something. I might try it again in a few days and see what happens. I wouldn’t say my skin looks dramatically different, but it feels a lot better than before. Maybe there’s something to this shaving cream thing after all! Who knew?
So, yeah, that’s my little experiment with shaving cream. Not too bad for a random internet find, I guess. We’ll see if I keep it up, but for now, I’m calling it a win. My husband might need to buy a new shaving cream, though.

Hope my little experiment helps someone out there!
