Okay, so, I’ve been experimenting with different lipstick shades lately, and let me tell you, the journey to finding that perfect shade has been quite something. Today, I want to share my experience with blue undertone lipsticks.

I started by figuring out my skin’s undertone. I looked at my veins, like, they suggest online, and they seemed kind of blue-ish. I also remembered that I tend to get sunburned pretty easily before tanning. So, I guessed I have a cool undertone.
Then, I started reading that blue undertone lipsticks are great for cool-toned people. They apparently brighten your look and have hints of pink and purple in them. That sounded promising. I decided to give it a try, even though I am not quite used to such bold colors.
Experimenting with Shades
- First try: I grabbed a classic red with a blue undertone. It was from MAC, I think, because I heard they have some good options. When I put it on, it felt a bit strange at first, but then I kinda liked it. It did make my complexion look brighter.
- Next up: I tried a rose shade. It was more subtle than the red, but still had that cool undertone. It felt pretty natural and looked really good, I thought. I wore it to work, and my colleagues also gave me lots of praise.
- Feeling bold: I even went for a dark blue lipstick, just for fun. I saw online that it’s trending, and I saw someone on the street wearing it, which looked really cool. Surprisingly, it didn’t look as crazy as I expected. I tried it at home, took some photos, and shared them with my friends. They also said it looked good.
After trying out these shades, I think I’m starting to get the hang of blue undertone lipsticks. They really do make a difference, especially the way they brighten up my face. I was so happy about the results.
This whole lipstick experiment has been pretty fun. I learned a lot about what colors work for me. It’s not just about following trends, but more about finding what actually makes you feel good and confident, right? Anyway, that’s my little adventure with blue undertone lipsticks. Hope you guys enjoyed this sharing!
