Berneron Mirage Explained: Simple Guide to Understanding How This Illusion Works.

Okay, so let me tell you about this thing I got into recently – the Berneron Mirage. It’s a watch, but not just any watch. This one’s got some serious style.

Berneron Mirage Explained: Simple Guide to Understanding How This Illusion Works.

First off, I heard about this watchmaker, Berneron, who’s doing his own thing, making watches independently. I was immediately interested, and took a deeper look. I found out he had this model called the “Mirage” that looked pretty wild, kind of like it was melting or something. Very unique.

So, I started digging around, reading up on it. Apparently, Berneron’s been working on this Mirage watch for a couple of years. The first version, the Mirage 38, was already out, and people were loving it. But then I saw they were making a smaller one, the Mirage 34, with these cool stone dials – one called “Tiger Eye” and another called “Lapis Lazuli”. I was sold. I always feel good things will happen when I wear Tiger Eye.

I did a bit more research on the design. I discovered that they used some fancy math thing, the Fibonacci sequence, to get the shape just right. It’s supposed to make the watch look more, I don’t know, balanced or something. I am not good at those math things.

    What I did:

  • Reached out to Berneron: I sent them a message to ask about getting my hands on a Mirage 34 with the Tiger Eye dial.
  • Waited (im)patiently: It took a while, but they finally got back to me and said they could make it happen.
  • Got the watch: When it finally arrived, I was blown away. It looked even better in person than in the pictures. The Tiger Eye dial is mesmerizing, kind of like looking into a, well, a tiger’s eye, I guess.
  • Wore it everywhere: I’ve been wearing this watch non-stop. It’s a real conversation starter. People always ask me about it.

This whole experience of discovering and then actually getting the Berneron Mirage has been pretty cool. It’s not just a watch; it’s like a little piece of art that I get to wear on my wrist. And the Tiger Eye? It’s just… stunning. It’s like having a little piece of the desert sun with me all the time. Plus, I just feel like this is one of those things that’s going to be worth a lot more someday. So, yeah, I’m pretty happy with my decision.
