Okay, so, a while back, I was totally into trying out that Victoria’s Secret Basic Instinct perfume. You know, the one that’s supposed to be all seductive and whatnot? I saw it everywhere online and thought, “Why not?”

First off, I went online to find it. I didn’t want to go to an actual store, I prefer shopping online. I looked around, and ended up getting it from an online shop. No issues there, they had a money-back guarantee.
When it arrived, I was pretty excited. It came in a nice box, and the bottle looked fancy. I read somewhere that you should put on body mist right after a shower, on damp skin. I did just that. Took a shower, and while my skin was still a bit wet, I sprayed it on.
- I sprayed it mostly on my wrists and neck.
- The first thing I noticed was the smell. It was kind of sweet but also musky. I think it had vanilla, sandalwood, and musk in it.
I wore it out a few times. To be honest, I felt pretty good wearing it. Like, a bit more confident than usual, you know? People did say I smelled nice. One of my friends even asked what perfume I was wearing. Made me feel like I made a good choice.
But here’s the thing – it didn’t last all day. I mean, it smelled great for the first few hours, but after that, I had to spray it on again. That was kind of a bummer, especially since it’s not the cheapest perfume out there.
My Final Thoughts
So, yeah, that was my experience with the Victoria’s Secret Basic Instinct perfume. It was a fun little experiment. I felt more charming and it was a good confidence booster. Would I buy it again? Maybe. It’s a nice scent to have, especially for special occasions. But, it’s not something I’d wear every day, mostly because it doesn’t last that long and I don’t want to keep reapplying it. If you’re thinking about trying it, I’d say go for it, especially if you like feeling a bit more alluring. Just don’t expect the scent to stick around all day.

That’s all from me, just my two cents on this perfume thing. Hope it was somewhat helpful!
