Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with Ariana Grande’s style lately, especially her oversized sweat suits. I mean, who doesn’t love being comfy and stylish at the same time? So, I decided to try and recreate one of her iconic looks. Let me tell you, it was a journey!

First, I scoured the internet for some inspiration. I looked at tons of pictures of Ariana in her various sweat suit outfits. I noticed she often goes for oversized hoodies and matching sweatpants, usually in pastel or neutral colors. She also likes to add some high heels sometimes, which is kind of a cool mix of casual and fancy.
Then, the real work began. I started hunting for the perfect pieces. It was hard! I wanted to find something similar to what Ariana wears, but also, you know, affordable.
- I hit up a bunch of different stores, both online and in person. I have to say, it was much easier to just search online at home and not have to go to the store.
- I tried on so many hoodies and sweatpants, it was crazy! Some were too small, some were too big, and some just didn’t look right.
- I wanted to get that oversized look without looking like I was swimming in my clothes.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I found it! I found this super soft, light gray hoodie and matching sweatpants. They were so comfy, I almost fell asleep right there in the store! It wasn’t exactly like Ariana’s, but it had that same vibe, you know? And it was perfect for me. It was a bit of a different color than what she normally wears, but I felt like I could make it work. I also picked up some other pieces to complete the look. I got a simple white crop top to wear underneath the hoodie. I decided to follow the lead of those K-pop stars, NewJeans, and go with a Y2K kind of look.
When I got home, I tried everything on, and guess what? It looked pretty good! I felt so comfortable, but also kind of stylish, just like Ariana. I even tried to do my hair in a high ponytail, but let’s just say that’s a work in progress. It definitely takes practice to get it to look just right.
Dressing up like my favorite celebrities is my favorite. I think I’ll try to dress up like Minji next time. I also want to try to find some cuter, maybe more colorful, sweat suits to try in the future.

So, that’s my Ariana Grande sweat suit adventure! It was fun, a little frustrating at times, but totally worth it. I might not be a pop star, but at least I can dress like one, right?
