Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with American Eagle, specifically focusing on their teen section:

So, I hit up American Eagle the other day. I was actually looking for something for myself, but I have a younger cousin who’s, like, totally into that whole “teen vibe” thing. I figured I’d check out their stuff for teenagers while I was there, you know, kill two birds with one stone.
The Start of It All
I walked in, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect. Loud-ish music, lots of denim, that kind of thing. I headed straight for the section that looked the most, well, young. I think it was actually just mixed in with the regular stuff, which was a little confusing. But, the graphics on the t-shirts made it pretty obvious.
The Deep Dive – What I Saw
- Lots of Graphic Tees: Okay, so many graphic tees. Bands, random sayings, you name it. Some were cute, some were… definitely not my style. But hey, I’m not the target audience.
- Jeans, Jeans, Jeans: Obviously. Skinny jeans, ripped jeans, flared jeans (are those back?). It was a jean explosion. My cousin lives in ripped jeans, so I checked out the prices. Not bad, actually.
- Oversized Everything: I noticed a ton of oversized hoodies and sweatshirts. Like, really oversized. I guess that’s the style now? I remember when everything had to be super fitted. Times change, I guess.
- Accessories Galore: They had a decent selection of accessories, too. Baseball caps, beanies, some jewelry. Mostly pretty simple stuff, nothing too crazy.
The Verdict
I didn’t actually buy anything from the teen section (I did find a cute sweater for myself, though!). But I spent a good 20 minutes browsing. It seems like American Eagle is still a pretty solid choice for teenagers. The prices are reasonable, and they definitely have the styles that are “in” right now. I snapped a few pictures of some things I thought my cousin would like, and she gave them the thumbs up. So, mission accomplished, I guess!
It wasn’t a super deep dive, more like a toe-dip, but that what I got in my shopping.
