Okay, so, about those Tiffany AF1s. You know, I’ve been seeing them pop up everywhere online, and I finally decided to get a pair. At first, I wasn’t sure about them, there were many mixed reviews. But then, I thought, “Why not?” I mean, they’re a limited edition, and I’m a bit of a sneakerhead, so I went for it.
It was March 7th, 2023, the release day. I woke up early, and guess what? I managed to snag a pair online! I was pretty stoked, I won’t lie. When the package arrived, the first thing I did was, obviously, open the box. The shoes were right there, looking even better in person. They are mostly black, with that famous Tiffany blue on the Swoosh. They just felt special, you know?
- First Impression:They looked good, really good. The black suede or nubuck, whatever it is, it’s soft. And that Tiffany blue? It really pops.
- Wearing Them:I put them on, and they were comfortable right away. I wore them around the house, then out for a walk. They felt good on my feet, no breaking in needed.
- Showing Off:I wore them to meet up with some friends, and yeah, they got noticed. A few people asked about them, and I got some compliments. It felt good to be wearing something a bit different, something that not everyone had.
After Wearing
After having them for a while, they are holding up great. They’re not just for show, they’re actually good sneakers. These shoes are said to commemorate the 40th anniversary of AF1, and I heard that only 1,837 pairs were made, which is also the year Tiffany was founded, making them even more special. Some say, why pay so much for such simple shoes? They don’t know that AF-1 is by far Nike’s best-selling shoe of all time. I’ve always been a fan of classic Nikes, and these are definitely a nice addition to my collection. I get that they’re not everyone’s cup of tea, especially with the price and all. It is said to be high, but for me, they’re worth it. They’re different, they’re comfortable, and they’ve got that little bit of exclusivity. The simple design also makes them easy to match with clothes, making them an excellent choice for everyday wear.
So yeah, that’s my story with the Tiffany AF1s. It started with a bit of curiosity, turned into a successful purchase, and ended with me really liking the shoes. No regrets here!
