This here’s about that Adriana Lima gal, you know, the one from the 90s. She was a real looker, that one. All them Victoria’s Secret things, she was in all of ’em. She’s from Brazil, you know. Born way back in 1981, in June. The 12th, I reckon. Place called Salvador, Bahia. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
That Adriana Lima in the 90s, she was somethin’ else. All the young folks went crazy for her. She was all over them magazines. Back then, she had this look. Real… bold, I guess you’d say. Eyes all done up. Face lookin’ like it was carved outta somethin’ smooth. Like a peach, maybe. A real pretty peach. Now, I ain’t one for all that makeup stuff, but I gotta say, she wore it well.
She was a supermodel, they called her. Walkin’ around in them fancy clothes. Big angel wings and all. I seen it on the TV. My granddaughter, she used to watch all them shows. She wanted to be just like Adriana. Used to practice walkin’ around the house, pretendin’ she was on that stage. It was cute, I reckon. But Lord, those heels! I told her, “You gonna break an ankle, girl!”
