Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try out this Ferragamo Bright Leather fragrance for a while now. I finally got my hands on a bottle, and let me tell you, the whole experience, from start to finish, was something I wanted to jot down.
Getting My Hands on It
First off, finding it. I didn’t want to just order it online without knowing the auctual smell, I wanted to experience the auctual feeling, you know? So, I went to a couple of department stores.
I finally found it at that big one downtown – the one with all the fancy displays. They had a whole Ferragamo section, and Bright Leather was right there, front and center.
First Impressions
- The Bottle: Super sleek, minimalist. It felt heavy and expensive in my hand. I liked the simple, clean design. It’s not trying too hard, which I appreciate.
- The Spritz: I sprayed a little on a tester strip first. The initial blast was…interesting. Kind of sharp, but in a good way. Definitely got my attention.
Trying It On
Okay, tester strip was one thing, but I needed to try it on my skin. I sprayed a bit on my wrist and waited. That initial sharpness? It mellowed out pretty quickly. I started smelling something citrusy, but not like a lemon or orange – more like…grapefruit? Maybe? And then there was this underlying warmth, like leather, but not that heavy, old-fashioned leather smell.
Wearing It Throughout the Day
I wore it for the rest of the day. I kept getting whiffs of it, and it was really pleasant. It’s not overpowering, but it’s definitely there. I noticed that it changed a bit throughout the day. The citrusy notes faded a little, and the leather and something…woodsy?…became more prominent. It felt very sophisticated, but also kind of casual, if that makes sense.
The Verdict
I have to say,I went to test a lot, and I really like this fragrance! It’s different from anything else I own. It’s fresh, but it also has depth. It’s the kind of scent I’d wear to a nice dinner, but I could also see myself wearing it to work or even just on a weekend. And, it is worthy. So I bought a bottle and I’m glad that i did it. I will try to update if I got some different feelings, lol.
