Okay, so I saw this “ur mom ashley jewelry” thing popping up, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’m always up for trying weird trends, you know? So, I decided to dive in and see what it’s all about. Figured I’d document it, ’cause why not?
The Hunt Begins
First, I needed to find out where to even get this stuff. I did some quick searches, scrolled through a bunch of stuff, and it seemed like finding actual “ur mom ashley” branded jewelry was, shall we say… tricky. It’s not like it’s at your local mall, I quickly found that out.
DIY Time?
Since finding a pre-made was a pain, So, I grabbed some basic supplies I was going for some kind of homemade vibe anyway.
- Plain Pendants: Got a few cheap, blank metal pendants. Nothing fancy.
- Letter Beads: Found a pack of those alphabet beads.
- Jump Rings & Clasps: To hold everything together, obviously.
- Chain: Just a simple chain nothing too wild.
Putting It Together…Messily
Alright, I’m no jewelry expert. I started by trying to spell out “ur mom” with the letter beads. Turns out, I needed to find a font style I like. so I searched “ur mom ashley” font, copy that style use Photoshop made a couple of different styles.
Then, the jump rings. Man, those things are tiny! I spent way too long fumbling around, trying to attach the pendants to the chain. It was a bit of a struggle, but hey, that’s part of the charm, right?
Finally after hours of strugle, everything’s done.
So, there you have it. My “ur mom ashley jewelry” adventure. Was it worth it? It was definitely a fun little project, I ended up making a whole bunch of these things. Maybe I’ll even give them away as gifts or something. Who knows? The main thing is, I tried something new, and that’s always a win in my book.
