First, I looked up what exactly this “Beyonce purse” even was. Turns out, it’s not a specific purse, but more like a style. I thought, maybe it’s a challenge or something? So, I did my homework.
Digging into the Trend
I spent a good hour just browsing. I looked at pictures, read some articles. Seems like it is all about tiny, almost comically small, purses. Think sparkly, maybe a little bit extra, and definitely not practical. The kind of thing you’d carry to a fancy event, not to the grocery store.
My DIY Attempt
I’m not one to just buy something new if I can make it myself. So, I decided to get crafty. I rummaged through my closet and found this old, plain clutch. It was the right size – small enough to be ridiculous – but totally boring.
Next, I hit up the craft store. I grabbed some glitter, some stick-on jewels, and some super glue. I had a vague idea in my head, kind of like a disco ball but… smaller. And more purse-like.
Back home, I laid out all my supplies. Then, I just went for it. I slathered that clutch in glue and dumped glitter all over it. Seriously, glitter everywhere. Then I carefully placed the jewels in a somewhat-random, somewhat-symmetrical pattern.

It took a while to dry, and I definitely made a mess. But, honestly? It turned out pretty cute! It’s totally impractical. Like, I can fit my phone, a lipstick, and maybe my keys. But it’s definitely got that “Beyonce” vibe – a little bit extra, a little bit glamorous, and definitely not something you’d see every day.
