Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with these ABH eyeshadow palettes, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I’m not a makeup artist or anything, just a regular person who likes to play with colors. So, here’s how it went down.
First Impressions
First off, I got sucked into one of those “Up To 90% Off” deals. Yeah, you know the ones that pop up when you are scrolling through your phone. I mean, who can resist a good bargain, right? It said there were over 1 million visitors in the past month so I thought, “Why not? Let’s do it!”
Choosing the Palette
I started by looking at all the options. There are so many! But from what I gathered, the Soft Glam palette seemed like a safe bet. People online were saying it’s super versatile and has good pigment. Sounded good to me!
Getting Started
When the palette finally arrived, I was pretty excited. I opened it up and started swatching the colors on my arm. Some of them were really pretty, especially the shimmery ones. I tried to blend a few together to see how they worked. I had to really get in there to get the colors to pop.
Experimenting with Looks
- Daytime Look: I started with a simple daytime look. I used some of the lighter shades on my lid and a slightly darker one in the crease. It was okay, nothing too crazy.
- Nighttime Look: Then I wanted to try something a bit more dramatic for a night out. I went for the darker shades and tried to create a smoky eye. It took some time, but I think I managed to pull it off.
- Colorful Look: I also experimented with some of the more colorful shades, just for fun. I tried to create a rainbow look, but it ended up looking a bit messy. Oh well, practice makes perfect!
The Verdict
After using the palette for a while, I’d say it’s pretty decent. The colors are nice, and they blend okay. It’s not the best palette in the world, but it gets the job done. I think if you’re just starting out with makeup or you want something easy to use, this could be a good option. If you’re looking for something super high-end, this might not be it. All in all, it’s good for what it is.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with ABH eyeshadow palettes. I’ll probably keep using it and trying out new looks. It’s all about having fun and experimenting, right?
