Okay, so, I got sucked into this whole Super Milk perfume thing because of TikTok. I mean, who doesn’t, right? 16.4 million views – that’s just insane! I saw it everywhere, and everyone was going crazy about this perfume from Lush. I don’t know, they sell bath bombs and stuff, I never even paid them that much attention before.
But, yeah, so many people said it smelled amazing, I was like, alright, let me just see what this is about. I went to the Lush store, and first, I tried their Super Milk hair product, you know, because it’s the same scent. I sniffed it, and honestly? I got a lot of vanilla at first, but also this fresh lemony vibe. It was kinda weird, but nice-weird, you know?
The lady at the store told me it’s kind of like their Avocado Co-Wash smell, which, I guess, is another popular thing they have. But she said Super Milk is different because it has oat milk and almond milk in it. That’s probably why it smelled kinda nutty and warm. I’m not sure, I’m no expert. I usually just wear whatever smells good, and I’m more into desserts, not so much into perfumes that smell like food ingredients. But like I said I was just curious.
I asked her how it was different from Avocado Co-Wash, and she told me it was less, like, sharp-smelling? I think she said “zesty.” I took a sniff of that one too, and yeah, Super Milk definitely had this sweeter, almost bakery-like smell to it. It reminded me of, like, caramel that’s been cooked a little too long, but in a good way! I do like sweet smells I guess, but the idea of wearing milk is kinda weird to me normally. I mean, I love it in like, cakes and stuff. Never wanted to smell like it though, lol.
So, the perfume. I sprayed it on my wrist, and it was pretty much the same as the hair product. Sweet, a little citrusy, and that burnt caramel thing. I walked around the mall for a while, and the smell kinda changed a bit. It got less strong, obviously, but also more, like, cozy? I don’t know how to explain it. It was like a warm hug, but not in a grandma way, haha.
Later that day I was reading more about it online and apparently, old-school perfumes used to have this “milky” smell a lot. They call it “lactonic.” Nowadays, it’s more about smelling like food, like croissants, strawberries, or even chocolate. I guess Super Milk is kind of a mix of both, which is probably why I dig it. It’s not just straight-up food, but it’s not all flowery and stuffy like old perfumes either.
Anyway, I ended up buying the Super Milk perfume. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I gotta say, I really like it. It’s different from anything else I’ve worn before. My boyfriend says he likes it too, he says I smell like a snack, haha. I guess I do now, thanks to this crazy TikTok trend!

So yeah, that’s my whole Super Milk journey. I never thought I’d be into a perfume that’s basically named after a dairy product, but here we are. If you’re into sweet, warm, and kinda unique scents, you should definitely check it out. Just be prepared to smell like a delicious dessert! Or maybe breakfast, I am not sure.
