Okay, so the other day, I finally made it to Winam Hair Studio in Honolulu. I’d heard some good things and, man, my hair was in desperate need of some professional help. I’d been going to the same stylist for years at a different salon, but wanted to try somewhere new, so I thought, why not give Winam a shot?

First off, finding the place was a breeze. It’s right on Koko Head Ave, super convenient. When I walked in, I was immediately struck by how clean and tidy the studio was. It had this calming vibe that instantly put me at ease. It’s one of those private studios, which I really liked because it meant the stylist could focus entirely on me, no distractions. Nice!

The Consultation

  • We started with a pretty detailed consultation. My stylist, who was amazing by the way, really took the time to understand what I wanted. We talked about everything – my usual style, my hair type, what kind of maintenance I was comfortable with, and even some new styles I was curious about. It felt like she genuinely cared about getting it right.

The Cut

  • I decided to go for a trendy cut that I’d seen online. My stylist was all for it and suggested a few tweaks to make it work better with my face shape. I appreciated that she didn’t just blindly follow what I asked for but used her expertise to make it even better.
  • She got to work, and I could tell she was skilled. It wasn’t just a quick snip-snip and done. She was meticulous, making sure every strand was in place. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time.

The Color

  • I also wanted to refresh my color. I was going for this vibrant pink – I know, pretty bold! But hey, I wanted to let my personality shine through. My stylist was totally on board and even excited about it. She used this ammonia-free, vegan hair shine product, which I thought was pretty cool. It smelled great and felt gentle on my hair, which is always a plus.

The Styling

  • Once the cut and color were done, she styled my hair, showing me how to keep it looking good at home. She also gave me some tips on how to maintain the color and keep my hair healthy. It was like a mini-tutorial, which I totally needed.

At the end, I was thrilled with the results. My hair looked fantastic – the cut was perfect, and the color was exactly what I had envisioned. It was such a great experience overall, from the detailed consultation to the actual cut, color, and styling. It wasn’t just a haircut; it was a complete hair transformation.

I’ve definitely found my new go-to place in Honolulu. If you’re looking for a new stylist or just a change of pace, I highly recommend checking out Winam Hair Studio. It’s a top-notch experience, and I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment.
