Okay, so, I was scrolling through Instagram the other day, and I saw this name pop up that I hadn’t seen before: Maya Wigram. I was like, “Who is this?” So I clicked on her profile, and it turns out she’s a model.
Then, I started digging a little deeper. I found out she just walked the Burberry show at London Fashion Week. Yeah, seriously! A pretty big deal. And the more I read, the more interesting it got. It turns out she’s the daughter of Phoebe Philo, the famous fashion designer. No wonder she’s got connections, right?
I looked into Phoebe Philo a little more just to see what she made and what she’s known for, and I had no clue who she was. Apparently, she’s pretty famous. I’m not really into fashion or anything, so that’s probably why.
So, I went back to Maya’s Instagram page, and she only has a few thousand followers and not that many posts. But she’s probably just starting out, so that makes sense.
Here’s what I did next:
- I watched some videos of the Burberry show to see Maya on the runway.
- I read a bunch of articles about her and her famous mom.
- I checked out some of Phoebe Philo’s designs to see what the hype was about.
It’s crazy how this one name, Maya Wigram, led me down this whole rabbit hole of fashion and celebrity stuff. I’m not saying I’m going to become a fashion expert now or anything, but it was definitely an interesting little journey. I just stumbled across her profile and I found it so interesting how someone could be so well-known in an industry I had never heard of. It was a good time killer for the day and I actually found myself looking into it even the next day.
Anyway, that’s my little story about how I discovered Maya Wigram. It’s funny how the internet can introduce you to all sorts of new things, even if you’re not really looking for them.
