Hey everyone, I’ve been messing around with watches lately, and I wanted to share my little adventure with you guys. I’ve always been into those big, flashy watches, but recently, I got this idea to try something different – small watches.

So, I started looking around, you know, just browsing and seeing what’s out there. I stumbled upon some articles talking about “microbrand” watches. They’re basically these cool, independent watchmakers, making some really unique stuff, and the best part? They don’t cost an arm and a leg. Most of them are under $1,000, which is a steal compared to those luxury brands.
I got really excited and started making a list. Dress watches, field watches, you name it. I was like a kid in a candy store! I found out there are tons of these lesser-known brands that are making some seriously good-looking watches. It’s like a hidden world of watchmaking that most people don’t even know about.
I started digging deeper, reading reviews, watching videos, and comparing prices. Some of the names I kept seeing were Bulova and Tissot. They’re not exactly “microbrands,” but they’re not those super expensive luxury brands either. They’re somewhere in the middle, and they make some pretty decent watches. But I wanted to go smaller, so I focused on the little guys.
My Little Watch Project Begins
I decided to pick one of these microbrands and give their watch a try. I chose a simple, minimalist design. It had a small, clean dial, a leather strap, and it looked really classy. I placed my order and waited. I think the wait wasn’t that bad, it was about 7 days, then I received it, the package was quite nice, also with a simple style, and I really like it.
When the watch finally arrived, I was pretty stoked. I put it on, and it felt great. It was light, comfortable, and it looked really good on my wrist. I started wearing it every day, to work, to the gym, even to formal events. It got a lot of attention, I have to admit that. People were curious about it because it was so different from what they were used to seeing.

What I Learned
- Small watches are awesome: They’re comfortable, stylish, and they don’t get in the way.
- Microbrands are the real deal: These guys are making some seriously high-quality watches at really affordable prices.
- Don’t be afraid to try something new: Stepping outside of your comfort zone can lead to some really cool discoveries.
So, that’s my little watch story. I’m still wearing my microbrand watch, and I’m loving it. I’ve even started looking at other small watches, thinking about adding a few more to my collection. It’s been a fun ride, and I’m glad I decided to try something different. If you’re looking for a new watch, I highly recommend checking out some of these microbrands. You might be surprised at what you find. That’s it for today, remember to keep seeking, and don’t be afraid to try. It may be great!
