The Body Shop Vanilla Perfume: Why Everyones Loving It

Okay, so today I want to talk about my little adventure with The Body Shop’s Vanilla perfume. I’ve always been a sucker for vanilla scents, you know, that sweet, creamy smell? It’s just so comforting and warm.

The Body Shop Vanilla Perfume: Why Everyones Loving It

So, I went to The Body Shop the other day. I was just browsing, not really planning on buying anything, but then I saw it – the Vanilla perfume. I’d heard a bit about it online, people saying it’s a classic and all that. They mentioned that it had a relaunch in 1981, and it became the favorite perfume of the new generation. I was curious, so I decided to give it a try.

First off, the bottle is pretty simple. Nothing too fancy, but it looks nice on my dresser. When I first sprayed it, I got this hit of fruity notes. They say it’s apricot, peach, plum, and lemon. Honestly, I couldn’t really pick out each one, but it was definitely fruity and fresh. It is a oriental vanilla fragrance, it gives me a very warm and sweet feeling.

  • Top Notes: Apricot, Peach, Plum, Lemon

Then, as it settled, the floral scents started to come through. There’s ylang-ylang, jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose, and lily-of-the-valley. Again, I’m no expert, but it smelled really nice and feminine. The floral part isn’t too strong, which I like. It’s more like a gentle background thing. It’s said to be the world’s favorite flavor because it is creamy and floral. I totally agree with it.

  • Middle Notes: Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, Lily-of-the-Valley

And finally, the best part – the vanilla! It’s mixed with sandalwood, musk, and amber. It’s a really warm, cozy, and slightly sweet vanilla. Not the sugary kind, but more like a natural, comforting sweetness. It’s the kind of scent that makes you want to snuggle up in a blanket. I also noticed that the packaging is different now and that they have more sustainable packaging. The Body Shop also has some other scents you can layer with this one.

  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber

My Experience

I ended up buying the perfume, obviously. I’ve been wearing it almost every day since. It’s not too overpowering, so it’s perfect for everyday wear. I usually just spray a little on my wrists and neck, and it lasts for a good few hours. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it too, which is always nice.

Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s a lovely vanilla scent that’s not too expensive. If you’re a vanilla lover like me, I definitely recommend checking it out. I also read a lot of good reviews online, I think more than 7000 reviews. So, it’s not just me who loves this perfume. I didn’t get mine from Amazon, but it seems like they have some good deals on it there, too.

That’s it for my little perfume story. Hope you enjoyed it!
