Hey everyone, so I’ve been messing around with this Dior Car project, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I saw some buzz about Dior, you know, the fancy French fashion place, doing some collab. And I was like, “What’s this all about?” I’m not really into those reality TV shows, “The Real Housewives” or whatever, but this got me curious.
I started digging around, trying to figure out what this whole thing was. Turns out, Dior was teaming up with some car company. I kept looking and looking, going deep into this rabbit hole, then I got it, it made sense to me. I thought, “I’m gonna make my own version of this, just for kicks.”
Getting Started
- First off, I started collecting stuff I needed. Some parts here, some parts there, trying to make it look like a car.
- Then, I started putting it all together, which was a pain, honestly. It took forever, and I messed up so many times.
- I wanted it to look slick, so I spent ages just on that. I was watching videos of that Lincoln BlueCruise thing, dreaming of having that in my DIY car, and kept looking into it.
The Process
It was a lot of trial and error. Some days, I felt like I was getting nowhere. Other days, I’d have a breakthrough and feel like a genius. I kept pushing, trying to get that smooth, responsive drive I’d seen in those fancy cars. I wanted mine to have that intuitive technologies. I started to draw on the paper, write some notes, and put all things together.
Wrapping Up
Finally, after what felt like forever, I got it to a point where I was pretty happy with it. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And you know what? It actually moves! It’s not winning any races, but it’s a fun little thing I made. It’s way more responsive than I expected. I’m thinking of adding more to it, maybe some cool lights or something. I don’t know yet. We’ll see.
