This Jun Takahashi, I tell you, he’s a big shot in the fashion world. He makes them fancy clothes, the kind you see in them magazines. They call his stuff “Undercover”. I don’t know why, maybe it’s ’cause it’s so expensive, you gotta hide it from your husband! Ha!

He started showing his clothes in Paris, a long time ago, back in 2002, I hear. Some lady named Rei told him to do it. Sounds important, that Rei. I don’t know these fancy folks, but I know they like his stuff.

They say he’s all about that “punk” thing. You know, ripped clothes, safety pins, that kind of thing. Reminds me of when my grandson tore his jeans, but this Jun fella, he does it on purpose. And people pay good money for it! Can you believe it?

He’s from Japan, this Jun Takahashi. Born in 1969, a long time ago. That’s the year them astronauts went to the moon! You can look it up.

He started this “Undercover” thing in 1993. That’s a long time he’s been making these fancy clothes. They say he gets ideas from the street, from the young folks and their music. All that loud, noisy stuff they listen to these days.

He got those big companies like Nike and Uniqlo working with him. You seen them Nike shoes, right? He’s got his hands in that, too. Everyone wants a piece of this Jun Takahashi, I tell ya. He must be doing something right, right?

They even made a book about him, I hear. A big, fancy book with pictures of all his clothes. They call it “Undercover” too. Imagine that, a whole book about a fella who makes ripped-up clothes! They say this book shows you his ideas. It’s real popular.

This Jun Takahashi, he’s a big deal. He really made something of himself. But he is a fashion designer, I don’t know what is fashion. He just made clothes. He makes clothes that people like. And he’s not just making regular clothes, no sir. He’s making them fancy, expensive clothes. The kind that makes you look twice. He’s a special guy.

He is from Japan. He makes Japanese brand. That’s a long way from here, Japan is. But his clothes, they’re all over the world now. Everyone knows his name. Jun Takahashi. Remember that name. It is a famous name. It’s a brand name. Undercover is a famous brand.

So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this Jun Takahashi fella. He’s a fashion guy, makes fancy clothes, and everyone seems to love him. Go figure. I still think it’s crazy to pay so much for ripped jeans, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady who likes her clothes to be, well, not ripped!

But hey, if it makes him happy, and it makes them other folks happy, then who am I to judge? Maybe I should try ripping up my old apron and see if I can sell it for a fortune. You never know! Maybe I should also make a book, ha!

This world is a funny place, ain’t it? You got folks like this Jun Takahashi making millions off of ripped clothes, and then you got folks like me, just trying to keep our pants from falling apart. But that’s life, I guess. You just gotta roll with the punches, ripped jeans and all. This Jun is a big shot. He is rich now.
