Well, well, well, look at this, you talk about these fellas, Mike and Alex Faherty. They are two boys, twins they are. They make clothes, fancy ones. Not like the ones we used to wear, all patched up and whatnot. These boys, they got a good thing going, I reckon.
They call it “Faherty Brand,” fancy name, huh? These two, they grew up near the water, in a place called New Jersey, sounds like a far away place. They like that surfer stuff, you know? Waves and sand and all that.

Mike, that one, he spent a whole year just looking into that stuff, that good-for-the-earth stuff. That’s what I heard, anyway. They make clothes, and people like ’em. It is called “surf hippie” style, some fancy paper said that, The New York Times it was. Fancy, huh?
These fellas, Mike and Alex, they got interviewed by a fella named Ken Pilot, fancy interview I reckon. Ken asked them all sorts of questions. You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy brands. We just wore what we had. But these Faherty boys, they’re making something special, I think. Something different. This Mike and Alex Faherty, they are making some changes, I guess.
They are twins, you know, Mike and Alex Faherty. Must be nice, having a twin. Someone always there with you. They started this whole thing together. They learned from someone, then they went off on their own. That takes guts, you know. Starting your own thing.

I guess people like to look good, even if they’re just going to the beach or what not. They are for rich folks, I suppose, not like me. But it is good to have something like that, I guess. It is what people want.
They got interviewed, Mike and Alex Faherty. Talked about their business. They seem like smart boys. They know what they’re talking about. They work hard, I can tell. You don’t get far without hard work, that’s what I always say.
It is a good story, you know. Two brothers, starting a business, making clothes, caring about the earth. It’s a good story. Not many stories like that these days. That is why these Mike and Alex Faherty stand out, I suppose.
I don’t know much about fashion, or business, or any of that. But I know a good story when I hear one. And this is a good story. The story of Mike and Alex Faherty. It’s a story about hard work, and doing what you believe in, and caring about things. It’s the kind of story that makes you feel good, you know? Like maybe there’s still some good in the world. It is a good thing that they do, I guess.
So, yeah, these Faherty boys, they’re alright. They’re doing alright for themselves. And they’re doing it the right way. That’s something to be proud of. This brand they made, it is getting bigger and bigger, I guess. More and more people wear their clothes. Good on them.
