So I saw these Coachella pics of Megan Fox popping up everywhere and thought, dang I gotta figure out how she pulled that look together. Started digging around midnight with my laptop heating up my knees.
Scavenging for Clues
First thing I did was go full detective mode. Scrolled through 20 different gossip sites trying to find clear shots of her outfit. Couldn’t even tell if her sparkly top was silver or light blue in half the photos. Got mad frustrated when I realized Getty Images had watermarks covering the belt details.
Recreating the Mess
Grabbed all my rhinestone stuff from last year’s craft box and started gluing like crazy. Totally messed up the asymmetric shoulder thing twice before realizing her top had these hidden straps. Sweated like hell trying to cut faux leather into micro shorts until my roommate walked in laughing.

The Major Roadblock
Could NOT figure out her damn boot situation. Were they knee-high? Calf-length? Then noticed in one blurry paparazzi shot she’d swapped into sneakers after sunset. Almost threw my sketchbook when I realized her “mystery boots” were just Instagram filters making regular boots look shinier.
Final Disaster
Tried doing that wet hair look with coconut oil like some YouTube tutorial said. Big mistake. Walked around with greasy helmet hair all Saturday, my cat kept trying to lick my head. But hey, at least I learned: mega shimmer + micro shorts + zero comfort equals iconic festival looks.
Ended up dumping my DIY version in the trash but gained serious respect for celeb stylists. Those people are wizards hiding tape and safety pins everywhere.
