Why I Dug Through Marshalls Sacramento Photos Before Going

- Bonus finds: Near the towels? These super soft throw blankets folded up. Tag said $24.99 but scanned at $16.99. No reason not to grab one for the couch. Also spotted some decent ceramic plant pots for $8 bucks each – gotta repot a struggling fern soon.
Important side note: While digging, kept my phone out checking those pics I found earlier against the shelves. Helped me spot stuff faster instead of wandering clueless. Saw some items from the pics already gone – serves me right for dallying! Goes to show, stuff moves quick.
How I Actually Saved (Beyond the Sticker)
Okay, spent money, I know. But here’s how I squeezed it:
First, avoided the fancy “new arrivals” area upfront. Everything shiny and new comes with a shinier price tag. Headed straight for the deeper aisles where the clearance yellow tags hide.
Second, scanned everything myself with their little price checker thingies near the registers. That towel discount? Only showed up on the scanner, not the shelf tag.
Third, didn’t wander near the clothes section. Clothes are a black hole for my wallet. Mission focused: towels and storage.
Final damage? Got bath towels, plant pots, baskets, and a cozy throw for less than I would’ve paid just for towels at a department store. Plus gas money justified. Worth the drive? For that haul and those scanner surprises? Heck yeah. Next time I need something specific? Checking those local photos first, no doubt.
