How I Ended Up with Jason Crocs

So, I was just browsing around online the other day, killing some time. Then I stumbled across these Crocs designed to look like Jason Voorhees’ hockey mask. You know, from the Friday the 13th movies. My first reaction was just, “Huh, that’s pretty wild.” I’ve always liked those old horror movies, got a soft spot for the classics.

I kicked the idea around for a bit. They looked kinda funny, but also pretty cool in a nerdy way. I figured, what the heck, might be fun to have. Maybe wear them around the house, maybe use them for a Halloween costume piece later on. Decided to just go for it.

Getting My Hands on Them

Finding them wasn’t too tough. Did a quick search online, and they popped up on the main Crocs site and a couple of other places. Added them to my cart on one of them, paid, and that was that. Felt like the shipping took a while, but maybe I was just impatient.

When the box finally got here, I opened it up straight away. Pulled them out. Yeah, they definitely look like the mask. All the holes, the shape, even the little red markings. They felt just like regular Crocs, same lightweight rubbery material. No surprises there, which is good.

Wearing the Mask… On My Feet

I tried them on right then and there. Slipped on easy. Felt comfortable, just like my other pairs. Walked around the kitchen a bit. My wife saw them and just shook her head, smiling. Knew she’d think they were ridiculous.

Been wearing them mostly inside, sometimes out to the yard or to grab the newspaper. They’re comfy for sure. Took the bins out wearing them last week and my neighbor definitely stared for a second before giving a little wave. Can’t miss ’em.

  • Felt instantly familiar, comfort-wise.
  • Definitely an attention grabber, even just around the house.
  • Good for quick trips outside, easy to slip on.

Haven’t worn them out properly yet, like to the store or anything. Maybe I will, just for kicks. They’re more of a novelty item for me, I guess.

So, What’s the Verdict?

Overall, I’m happy I got them. They’re exactly what I expected: regular comfy Crocs but with a crazy Jason mask design. They’re fun. If you’re a fan of the movies or just like weird stuff, they’re a cool pair to have. Not for everyday, maybe, but definitely good for lounging or getting a reaction. Practical in the usual Crocs way, but with that extra bit of weirdness. Thumbs up from me.
