Okay, so I’ve been eyeing the KD 15s for a while, specifically the all-black ones. You know, the “Aunt Pearl” colorway is cool and all, but I just wanted something simple and clean. So, I finally pulled the trigger and got a pair.

First thing I did was, obviously, unbox them. The box itself is pretty standard, nothing fancy. But the shoes…man, they looked even better in person than online. The all-black is just so sleek.
Trying Them On
I slipped them on, and they felt pretty good right away. I wear a size 10, and these were true to size. No weird tightness or anything. The cushioning felt really bouncy. I walked around my apartment a bit to get a feel for them.
- Comfort: Pretty darn good, even just walking around.
- Look: Exactly what I wanted. All black everything.
- Fit: True to size, no complaints.
Hitting the Court
The real test, of course, was taking them to the court. I went to my local gym and started with some warm-up drills. The grip on these things is insane! I felt like I could cut and change direction so much quicker.
I will keep testing and see how I feel.

After a couple of hours of playing, my feet still felt great. No blisters, no soreness. Usually, with new shoes, I get at least a little bit of discomfort, but these were good to go from the start. I was super impressed with how responsive they felt. Every jump, every cut, felt supported.
Final Thoughts (For Now)
So far, I’m really digging these KD 15s. They look great, feel great, and perform great. I’ll have to see how they hold up over time, but my initial impression is super positive. If you’re looking for a solid, all-around basketball shoe, and you like the all-black look, I’d definitely recommend checking these out.
