Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little experiment with the “80’s Christie Brinkley” look.

Reliving 80s Christie Brinkley Style (Easy Fashion Guide)

I’ve always been a fan of that classic 80s vibe – big hair, bright makeup, and just an overall feeling of fun and confidence. And who embodies that better than Christie Brinkley? So, I decided to give it a shot myself, documenting the whole messy, hilarious process.

The Prep Work

First, I gathered my supplies. This was an adventure in itself. I dug through my mom’s old makeup stash(with a lot of make up tools), scoured some vintage shops, and even raided my own closet for anything that screamed “80s.”

  • Blue eyeshadow – The brighter, the better!
  • Pink blush – And lots of it.
  • Hairspray – The kind that could withstand a hurricane.
  • Teasing comb – For that gravity-defying volume.
  • Neon clothes–Anything bright, colorful,That I could find

The Hair-Raising Experience

Now, the hair. This was the real challenge. I started by washing and blow-drying my hair, trying to get as much volume as possible. Then came the teasing. Oh, the teasing! I sectioned my hair and teased each section at the roots, working my way up. I felt like I was building a skyscraper on my head.

Once I achieved maximum poof, I sprayed it all down with enough hairspray to choke a small animal. It was stiff, it was sticky, but it was definitely BIG.

The Makeup Mayhem

Next up, the makeup. I started with a good foundation and then went to town with the blue eyeshadow. I applied it liberally all over my lids, blending it up towards my eyebrows. I felt like a Smurf, but a glamorous Smurf.

Then came the blush. I dusted on a generous amount of bright pink blush on the apples of my cheeks, blending it upwards towards my temples. I looked like I’d just run a marathon, but in a good way… I think.

I finished off the look with some bright pink lipstick and a few coats of mascara. I even tried to find some blue mascara, but no luck there.

The Final Verdict

Finally,I took a little time to find some colorful cloth from my closet and I put all these together.

I looked in the mirror and… well, I definitely looked like I belonged in the 80s. It was a lot, but it was also kind of awesome. I felt like I could conquer the world, or at least star in a music video.

Would I wear this look every day? Probably not. But it was a fun experiment, and it definitely made me appreciate the bold style of the 80s. And hey, I learned how to tease my hair like a pro – that’s a skill that might come in handy someday!
