Okay, so I had this Cartier Love bracelet, you know, the one that’s supposed to symbolize eternal love? Well, my “eternal love” needed a little adjustment, and I had to figure out how to unscrew the darn thing. I grabbed the special screwdriver from my husband.

First step: I made sure I had the right screwdriver. It has the oval shape. I mean, I think it came with the bracelet when my husband bought it? Anyway, it’s small and gold-colored, just like the screws on the bracelet.
Locating the Screws
Next, I looked closely at the bracelet. The screws aren’t hidden, they’re part of the design, evenly spaced around the band. My bracelet had two screws, one on each side of the clasp.
Unscrewing the Bracelet
- I put the bracelet on a soft cloth. Don’t want to scratch my table.
- I lined up the screwdriver with one of the screws. It fit snugly into the groove.
- Important: I turned the screwdriver counterclockwise. You know, “lefty loosey, righty tighty.”
- I did it very very slowly. I have no idea where I will get another screwdriver.
- Once I felt the screw loosen, I kept turning until it was completely out. I was careful not to drop it.
- Repeated the process on the other side, and then the bracelet opened right up.
It was much easier than I thought! Now I can adjust, clean and put it away easily! I’m no expert, but I did it myself, and I thought it was very easy. I hope I helped someone by sharing this experience.
