Okay, so I’ve been trying to snag some deals at Marshalls lately, and figuring out their restocking schedule has been a bit of a mission. Here’s what I’ve done and found out so far, hopefully, it helps some of you out there!
My Marshalls Restock Investigation
First, I tried the direct approach. I straight-up asked a few employees at different Marshalls stores. I figured, who better to know than the people actually stocking the shelves, right?
The answers I got were…mixed. One employee told me they get new shipments “almost every day,” another said “Tuesdays and Thursdays are big,” and a third just shrugged and said, “It depends.” Not exactly the clear-cut answer I was hoping for.
So, next step: I started paying more attention myself. I visited a couple of different Marshalls locations at different times of the week and different times of the day.
- Mondays: Seemed pretty picked over, like the weekend rush had cleared a lot out.
- Tuesdays – Thursdays: These days definitely seemed to have more new stuff. I noticed employees wheeling out big racks of clothes and boxes of home goods. I saw the most new stuff first at 9 am.
- Fridays: Hit or miss. Sometimes there was new stuff, sometimes not so much.
- Weekends: Generally crowded, and I didn’t notice a ton of restocking happening, probably because it’s so busy.
My conclusion, based on asking around and my own observations: It looks like Marshalls restocks throughout the week, but there’s a good chance of finding fresh inventory on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and the eariler the better. It will take another couple of trips to confirm for sure, but for now, I will shop at these days.
It’s not a perfect science, but I definitely feel like I have a better shot at finding the good stuff now. I’ll keep paying attention and update if I discover anything new. I hope my experience and little experiment can help you guys who are also looking for the best time!
