Okay, so I’ve been wanting a pair of all-black sneakers for a while now. Something simple, classic, that goes with everything. I finally decided to go with the Nike Cortez. Here’s how it all went down.
The Hunt
First, I started looking online. You know, just browsing different stores to see what was out there and compare prices. I checked a few major shoe store websites.
Making the Decision
After looking around for a bit, the all-black Cortez just kept calling to me. It’s such a clean look, I knew It will be perfect with the jeans and t-shirts. I decided that I had to have that shoe.
The Purchase
I have found the shoe online, and it looks good.I just went for it and ordered them.
The Arrival
A few days later, the package arrived! I was so excited,I quickly opened * There they were, looking even better in person than online. The leather was nice and the all-black was just so sleek.
Trying Them On
Of course, I tried them on immediately. They fit perfectly! I normally wear a size 10, and that’s what I ordered. I walked around the house in them, feeling pretty good.
Styling Them
I start to pair them with some cloth.
- Jeans:Yep, classic combo. I threw on my favorite pair of dark wash jeans and a simple black t-shirt. The Cortez looked perfect.
- Shorts:It was a warm day, so I also tried them with some black cargo shorts and a white tank top. Another win!
- Chinos:To dress it up a tiny bit, I put on some khaki chinos and a black button-down shirt. Still looked great, a little more put-together.
Out and About
I wore the Cortez out to run some errands. They were super comfortable, even after walking around for a few hours. I even got a compliment on them from a stranger! Success!
Final Thoughts
I’m super happy with my all-black Cortez. They’re exactly what I was looking for: simple, stylish, and comfortable. I know I’ll be wearing these a lot.
