Alright, guys, let’s talk about this Coach rebranding project I tackled. It was, uh, quite the journey, I gotta say.

The Starting Point
First, I dove headfirst into understanding what Coach was all about, you know, their current vibe, their customers, the whole shebang. I spent hours just browsing their website, their social media, really trying to get a feel for their existing brand.
Digging Deeper
Then came the fun part – research! I looked at their competitors, checked out what other luxury brands were doing, and tried to figure out what was working and what wasn’t. Lots of staring at screens and scribbling down notes.
- Analyzed competitor branding strategies.
- Identified key trends in the luxury market.
- Gathered a ton of visual inspiration – mood boards galore!
Brainstorming Chaos
Next up, brainstorming. I got together with the team, and we just threw ideas around. Some were good, some were, well, not so good. But that’s the point, right? Just get it all out there. We filled whiteboards with concepts, keywords, potential color palettes – it was messy, but productive.
Crafting the New Look
After all that, I finally started to piece together a new brand direction. I played around with different fonts, colors, and imagery until I felt like I had something that really captured the new essence of Coach – a bit more modern, a bit more edgy, but still keeping that classic feel.
Presentation Time
Then came the nerve-wracking part: presenting the rebrand to the higher-ups. I put together a whole presentation, explained my thinking, and showed them the new visuals. Thankfully, they loved it!

Rolling it Out
Finally, it was time to actually implement the rebrand. I worked with the design team to update the website, the marketing materials, everything. It was a lot of work, but so satisfying to see it all come together.
So yeah, that’s pretty much the whole story of how I helped rebrand Coach. It was a wild ride, but I learned a ton, and I’m pretty proud of the results. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, but we got there in the end!
